Salem Division of Tamil Nadu Road Transport Corporation
has announced that free bus passes will be issued for students studying
in Government Arts Colleges, Government Polytechnics and ITI in the
districts of Salem, Namakkal, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri from the
academic year 2011-12.
A press release from its
Managing Director G. Swaminathan says that those who have received the
passes for the last academic year can receive applications from the
respective transport offices near their educational institutions. The
filled in applications should be submitted within a week's time. The
students should apply with two passport size photographs and through
their college principals.
