MTC Bus route Map
The Metropolitan Transport Corporation runs a mixed fleet of regular and deluxe buses up to distances of 50 km from the city of Chennai.Most of the new buses that have been inducted are deluxe semi low floored buses with automatic doors. The buses feature comfortable plastic molded upholstered seating, better legroom, comfortable and brightly lit interiors and better ventilation. The buses are also BS IV emission standard compliant. The fare for the deluxe buses start at Rs 7 and can go up to a maximum of Rs 15 for a 40 km journey.
